Occasionally, I would have a really neat dream. This is a big deal to me, because, by and large, I always have horrible nightmares, almost every night. The Worlds of The Krawlni came from one such, very rare, good dream. The Krawlni are hyperdimensional beings, and all we can see of them are hyperspace cross-sections poking into three-dimensional space. Their native home is a hyper-hyper Kleinbottle of layered pocket universes, or planes of reality, and they shift between them as easily as we walk from room to room in a house.
